My name is Anne Werth, this is my third year teaching at Sedgwick!
A little bit more about myself... I graduated from Hutch Trinity Catholic High School. I started off at Hutchinson Community College and received an Associates in Art. I decided to continue at Fort Hays State University, this is where I fell in love with the art program. I received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art with an emphasis in drawing and a minor in painting. I also received my Bachelors of Science in (secondary) Education at Fort Hays State. I am currently a student at Friends University working on my Masters. It is an adjustment going from teacher during the day, and student at night! I have a soon to be three year old son (Trexton), and a 5th grader that attends Sedgwick (Kaycee).
I teach the grade school, junior high, and various art classes for the high school. The Fall semester is aimed towards the digital aspects of art (illustration, photography, and graphic design). During the Spring semester, traditional studio art classes are offered (drawing, painting, ceramics, and sculpture).
Please, come check out my colorful new room!!!! :)
I have enjoyed being part of this district and community, and thank you for letting me be apart of your child's education and creativity! Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, I am more than happy to schedule a time to meet with you regarding your child's education.
